Our head chef Rounak Dumra , started his career as a young boy working for his family restaurant in the town of Fremont, 30-45 mins from SF Downtown. Wah Jee Wah started by his father Anil S Dumra made great name in the community and thrived on catering business, with 40+ years in the business. Rounak Dumra after working for his father for several years. Rounak Dumra decided to get serious about the food business and went off to college in New York, attended the Culinary Institute of America. Worked in New York for multiple chefs with different back grounds for a couple years getting exposed to Italian , Indian and contemporary foods . Chef then took on an opportunity in Florida with Bonita Bay Country Club for a season before he decided to come home .
